If you get the following error when using the Mac Terminal connected to a Linux server: setlocale: No such file or directory, you will need to change your settings to get rid of it.
Click Terminal -> Preferences
Click Advanced Tab
And make sure “Set locale environment variables on startup” is unchecked.
Close your terminal and try again.
