Disable mac autocorrection
Disable mac autocorrection is usually forgotten when I reinstall my system. From time to time I reinstall my system. Either to clean up my hard drive or just want a clean system. Most of my work is backed up on a file server. And my source codes are stored on a local Gitlab server. So it is easy to copy my work to my computer again.
The mac autocorrection doesn’t always agree with my. So one of the first things I do is disable mac autocorrection. You do that by go to System Preferences. Click on the Keyboard icon to enter keyboard settings. In the Keyboard setting window click on the Text tab. In the Text tab, deselect “Correct spelling automatically“. Now the autocorrection will never bug you again.
There is another method if you want to use the autocorrection. If you type a word and the dictionary doesn’t agree with you. You can learn the dictionary the word. Just right click, or double tap on a laptop, and select “learn Spelling. You dictionary should know contain and know how to spell that word.
