On web based systems, when getting automatic restarts, power loss, etc, it can be a pain with the re-open closed tabs feature in Internet Explorer. It’s not really possible to dissable it, but you can choose what to do. So you can set it to open a blank page instead. That is the same as dissabling the re-open closed tabs feature. Here is how to do it:
First open your contro panel, and go to Internet Options.
Then select tabs, as shown in the picture below.

In the next window, locate as shown in the picture below. Make sure to select “A blank page”.

And voila, no more re-open closed tabs in your internet Explorer.
